Help care for children who feel forgotten

We are partnering with Fostering Family and Have Haven Residential Treatment Center to help care for foster children in the Harris county system. There are lots of ways you can help make a difference in these children’s lives.

Special Opportunity: In partnership with Fostering Family we are offering an online training on January 23 from 9:30am-2pm.  The training will focus on explaining the child welfare system and how to care for children who have suffered the effects of trauma. Register for the free training here.

Here some more ways you can help!

⏰ Give a little time each month — Stop by to play a board game, shoot hoops or help with homework.

🖐 Volunteer to lead an activity for the boys based on a hobby or skill you could teach.

📫 Be a local pen pal. Write a letter or note of encouragement to one of the boys!

📅 Sign up for a future work day to help with landscaping and small projects at the facility.
