We desire to see the children at Apostles Houston know the Lord and His love for them. We are excited that God has called us to train children how to be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do the kinds of things Jesus did. Through studying God’s word, prayer, catechesis and fun, our desire is that every child would become a life-long followers of Jesus!
We offer in-house classes for babies (0-24 months) toddlers (2 & 3 year olds) and preschoolers (4 & 5 year olds) as well as two Elementary Classes Kindergarten through 5th grade during the service.

Serve in Apostles Kids
Sharing Christ with our kids and teaching them to follow him as their Lord and Savior is a great privilege. We need passionate followers of Jesus with different gifts who are willing to serve in this incredible ministry. If you want to experience the joy of serving in Apostles Kids please contact us.
*In accordance with our Apostles Family Ministries Safety & Security Policies, all volunteers must have attended Apostles for a minimum of six months, complete a background check and go through Apostles Kids training in order to serve.
Apostles Kids Advent Teaching Series
We are excited to spend this Advent season learning about the birth of Jesus!
Memory Verse:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Catechism Question:
Why was Jesus, God the Son, born as a baby?
Jesus was born as a baby so He could become human like us, bring us back to God, and restore what sin had broken.
Babies, Toddlers & Preschool
Each Sunday our Apostles Kids Team provides a caring and safe environment for our babies and toddlers up to 5 years old. Check-in is located in the Nursery/Education Building at the far end of the breezeway. Drop-off starts at 9:45am and pick-up is immediately following the end of worship.
Elementary
Elementary-aged kids (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) are invited to worship with their families. At the end of the opening songs of praise and before the sermon, the children are dismissed to go to their classes (Kinder - 2nd & 3rd - 5th). Leaders share lessons that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for elementary students, including a Bible lesson, snacks, and crafts. The children return to the church before communion begins.
